Thanks for answering me. The only thing I know about the replacement LC-177E is that it works with 9V. +Nezgar #4 Posted October 27, 2020 The motor is definitely 12VDC. You may be confusing the power requirement because of the 9VAC power supply. The drive circuitry derives 5VDC and 12VDC internally from that. The motor will technically operate with higher/lower voltages than 12V, but the speed will vary.
