There are 2 types of hacks with the same effect (usually): Only in memory: This works only for emulator. It must be executed every time, likely with .a8t files. It could attack temporary variables or "hard drive" data. In "hard drive": embedded forever in the xex. This works for real HW and emulator, see the following: If you're willing to contribute to the society: Open an hex editor (ex: HxD), then search and replace according to this post:
Wrathchild
So the arrangement of your rar file is that it contains individual rar's for each title containing the executable binary file accompanied by an a8t file. The issue would seem that binary files are not updated with the patch (e.g. they could be compressed and so need to load into memory first). So the problem is that you would need to recreated an xex from the patched memory and that's no mean feat (i.e. very difficult)... multiplied by the amount of titles there!
Mclaneinc
Which is why I didn't jump in, from inside Altirra you could write out memory with a header to form the XEX but it requires knowledge of size of mem and run locations let alone the complexity of an ATR. Its much easier to just use those patches inside Altirra as they stand rather than try and recreate working pre patched disks from them. At least with Eddyfree's patches they are prepointed out and meant for disk hex editing, simple search and replace code as needed, the a8t files are for memory changing after its all loaded and if compressed, uncompressed as Wrathchild says, ie you can't search for the bytes on the disk image some of the time.
