I think its cool enough time of year for it to survive the Astros... and bonus Sharp Shot games... all 4, at 5 pts each for 1st place finish.

And bonus points for each individual Sharp Shot game right? Are we doing +1 point for Sharp Shot records that are tied and then +2 for new records? I think the records for Sharp Shot are 105 Football Toss, 43 Maze Shoot, 80 for Space Gunner and 43 for Submarine.

+2 for a broken record. +5 For 1st place on each of the 4 games Sharp Shot has to offer.

Played a little bit at lunch, managed 200k in 30 minutes, but it's starting to get a little tougher there.  Barely gaining lives, so we'll see how long term I can go or not.  Definitely like this game better than Star Hawk (or Dracula!) for marathon play.

Looking like more of a problem than I thought.  The 500k difficulty spike is proving problematic for me.

500k - 175

600k - 135

 

Probably can eek out 1 mil, but I don't appear to be playing sustainably at this point.  Those smart bombs... ugh.

Okay, so is the secret to single player in this one just wishful thinking they'll keep coming to your side once they start pillaging the inactive player?

For Sharp Shot, can I get a ruling on whether we need to see a "zero" on the other player's score, or if I'm allowed to pound on the 2nd player fire button to help with the respawn rate?  I seem to be getting higher scores when doing the latter.

 

Edit - Looks like in prior seasons, folks were just doing single player (zero for the other score) and high scores are perfectly possible.

Maze high score appears to be 48 by Ignorama in season 9, by the way
