I don't think that's fair, and you're the only person I've ever seen make that particular complaint.  And there are quite a few copies of Tempest for the 5200 out there.  Tempest on the 5200 is just 32K.  A bankswitched and larger version on the Atari 8-bit could certainly be improved, but an 8-bit version of the game isn't something I've put much thought into.

 ..Al

I would love one that utilized the vbxe.  That would/could look amazing.

Been waiting many moons for Adventure II XE.  I actually bought a 5200 so I could play it there.  But the XE version looks even more amazing!

Looking forward to getting Adventure II.    Adventure was the first game on the Atari 2600 that I was exposed to and i wanted a 2600 after i played that.  Before that I only saw Atari Pong system at a friends house that we played all the time.  The same game, over and over.  :)

Yeah, Adventure is kinda like Pong... only you're the ball and the dragons are the paddles that hit you back and forth across the terrain. :D

Isn't it obvious?  5.  Think about it.  There are 5 letters in ATARI.  Five letters.  The fifth letter in the alphabet is 'E'.  E has 4 strokes in it, and the fourth letter is "D".  Continuing the sequence of 5, then 4 gives you 3.  The third letter is "C".  Now three is also the number of letters that have been decoded, so that terminates the sequence.  So now what do you get with these three letters?  D-E-C, or, December.

So the 5 means December.  Pretty obvious, right?

Now is there a double meaning?  By which I mean, does the 5 actually represent two things?  Maybe December 5?  Or it could be even more overloaded and mean December 5 at 5 o'clock... but what time zone?
