atrax27407
A while back, a question was asked about the existence of a manufacturer's chip ID list in reference to EPROMs. I responded that I didn't know of one off-hand. However, this evening I found a JEDEC publication that is a comprehensive list of all the manufacturer's ID codes. While it provides the manufacturer's 1-byte ID code, it doesn't provide the individual chip ID number (i.e., 2732, 2764, etc.). I have uploaded the document to the TL866 thread. This might be of some help in spotting counterfeit chips (particularly EPROMS and EEPROMS). The TL866CS has a function to specifically read the chip ID.
