eddhell
awesome pieces of history! I think they are cool, but honestly, how much longer and how much more effort was it to switch out a cartridge rather than push a button? average game players didn't mind swapping the carts...so I imagine sales were low on multi-cart switchers back then making them more rare now. These were for the "guys that already have everything else possible" for 2600.... now the Duplikator with 8k rom cart....that's cool a F#:*@)($)!!!! will it work on NTSC or PAL only? seems like logically it would be universal internally, except maybe voltage settings. Marc Oberhäuser
Absolutely, the cartridge selectors are really obscure. I guess they are all inspired by the shop displays and thought it's a good idea to bring it to home for whatever reasons. As for the Unimex: It uses the power supply of your 2600 so it should be 100% compatible with 110v. The cards themselves work for NTSC & PAL, depending on the ROM you copy.
