Do reputation points go away if I delete a status update?

Question

If I were to delete a status update with a certain amount of likes, would my reputation decrease by that amount?

Posted something i shouldn't have, i don't read about celebs too much anymore.
If i was still able to post most of my updates would be about Married... With Children on Logo
or what's on AMC or IFC
Been a long time since i posted about so and so breaking up. ;)

TMZ disabled comments so i can't post over there anymore.

I watched them all when they originally ran 😛 Even when I DID it was not something I would care to see in a Status update. Not exactly info that is hard to look up for yourself if interested.

I wonder if Invision in the next update will introduce stories, i.e. status updates that are set to automatically expire after a few hours. It seems to be the trend these days, that information on the Internet must not be permanent.
