AtariNostalgia
What is the easiest way to get VGA out from my TI? That's If something like that exists (I mean without soldering).
+arcadeshopper
Easiest is buy a composite to VGA converter these are on Amazon and eBay for cheap. They work ok or get this hdmi converter then you can use hdmi or convert that to VGA https://www.arcadeshopper.com/wp/store/#!/RCA-to-HDMI-GANA-1080P-Mini-RCA-Composite-CVBS-AV-to-HDMI-Video-Audio-Converter-Adapter-Supporting-PAL-NTSC/p/247940783Best quality is f18a which is not being made anymore.. if you have patience the f18a mk2 will be released sometime in the next year. It is a drop in replacement for the ti VDP chip the tms9918a or 9928All this info is in the FAQGregSent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk

ti99iuc
I See @AtariNostalgia is from Greece and probably he has a PAL version of the TI99, if so, it will haven't composite signals but component. I suggest to check the version to be sure that composite cable can work.
AtariNostalgia
My TIs are NTSC versions.
+OLD CS1
Bear in mind you may have to kiss a few frogs to find your prince. I have found a bunch of the cheaper composite-to-VGA converters will not sync or will produce a black-and-white image from our "retro" consoles.
+arcadeshopper
Yes pal needs the super awesome scart cable from the Italians Sent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk

To have a VGA on PAL version of the TI99 should be better to use a component cable connected to a converter. so I suggested to be sure if NTSC or PAL, just for this. ? if they are NTSC, composite to VGA converter will be perfect. kl99
Just to warn you, easiest way is not the same quality as the best way. And in best case you end up with something that is still 100% of the quality of what kind of signal you started with. In the NTSC console this would be a very noisy composite video signal. So the Transformation will in best case not add additional noise and quality loss. The Transformation will never result in a better video quality than what you started with. Transformation helps to overcome some connection or compatibilty issue, not to increase the quality.
