Dopy25
Does anyone have any info on this light gun? Posting says it's for Atari, but I think that might just be from the controller tip. It's the same connector as Atari, sega, etc. Apparently there are no markings on the gun. Would it work on the 2600?
Dopy25
Well it looks a lot like the Panther for the Sega saturn or Blaze Scorpion for playstation. But this thing has the DB9 connector on it so idk what the heck I'm looking at.
ventrra
It's most likely a famiclone gun. https://thefamicloneshelf.blogspot.com/2014/06/famiclone-light-guns.html
CapitanClassic
This comes from the Super Joy or similar Chinese knockoff NOAC games. These NOAC systems generally use cheap available parts, so they replace the proprietary NES connectors with DB9 connections . I have one exactly like that in yellow stashed away somewhere, and it came with a mall kiosk famiclone.
Dopy25
Ah that's a bummer. So it's probably not worth the $22 for the gun, a 7800 controller, and a combat cart for 2600. Thanks for the help, everyone!
+x=usr(1536)
That's about $10 worth of stuff there, tops, and the 7800 joystick is (somewhat surprisingly) the most valuable item.
