King Atari #29 Posted August 5, 2003 That comic strip is a work of art. Man, is Seanbaby sick! Yes, but incredibly funny (most of the time).
DracIsBack #30 Posted August 5, 2003 Ack - I couldn't click to the review. The link didn't work. Tis a shame - I enjoy a good rebuttal to ignorant posts. Incidentally, in playing the NES recently (I now have a healthy collection of games for my NES, SMS, 7800 and XEGS), I was always impressed with how developers pushed the system. While Sega and Atari fanatics push the assorted technical advantages of the 7800 and SMS, it would have been interesting to see what would have come out of the 7800 and SMS if: 1) The best developers were writing games for the 7800 and SMS instead of the NES. 2) Those developers worked on multiple generations of games, each finding new ways to push those systems to their limits and beyond. 3) Sega and Atari continued development of tools and additional MMC chips, much as Nintendo had done. 4) Developers had the types of development budgets required to pull in big-name licenses and ambitious projects that NES developers had. At the end of the day, the number of "great" games on the NES is high and that's really what counts over any specs. But, in playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II -- and comparing it to early NES titles -- I was left wondering, "What if Atari and Sega had that same luxery ...?" Foxy Cleopatra #31 Posted August 5, 2003 Heh... Whenever I see dumb comments like these, I always think of this article. It always makes me feel better! Now that is funny, but I don't see why you all would get upset by..."We're sorry, but this review cannot be displayed." ?

Brad2600 #36 Posted August 6, 2003 Chalk up another vicotry for Seanbaby over the retarded fanboys of video games! That Mark dude has to be the lamest gamer I've ever read about. I've played games for years and never got laid every other weekend. I don't make $32/hour plumbing out the asses of whoever the fuck I certainly don't do drugs all the time Which proves that Mark is a total dumbass. Whatever. Seanbaby is sick but funny. Brad2600 #37 Posted August 6, 2003 At least the guy doesn't work for a reputable gaming magazine or he'd be virtually lynched. Why? Because his comments border on fanboy-ism. And there would be people writing in with their complaints. Not to mention that he's ignorant about the history of video games.
