My favorite NES game! This challenge was really fun.

Nice work, Sphinx.  Once you get to World 5, I recommend using the P-Wing item on some of the stages.  World 5 is where things began to get nerve-wracking for me.  Also, there's about four instances where Lakitu appears at the very end of the stage.  If you let it toss out at least three spiny eggs (and keep them on screen) before you collect your card, then you can earn 15,000 bonus points.  It's risky though, so be careful.

Thanks @bubufubu.  Quite impressive score you ran up!  Thanks for the tips, always looking to get a better score.

small improvement, got taken out on world 2's pyramid. still puts a smile on my face

I did.   ?    I gave it 2 more runs, but didn't improve.  Got slightly farther in my last run,  but no score improvement.
