The setting for the classic controller is not complet. If do you want use the secondary weapon to back button, you can't. The perfect way for play this game with the classic controller is the attack on top button and the defend to side button.

I realised that this is not correct. The game has the 2nd button mapped to secondary weapon,
but better still, all the controls can be modified in the options. I wish all the games had that...
I thought before it needed a fix for the final version, but I had just missed the option...

I think this complete customisation of controls is the best for any game on the VCS to-date!

Atari's social media reposted an announcement from the Unsung folks today:

 

Unsung Warriors is coming to #Kickstarter on April 20th! The campaign is connected in real-time with our demo. A tree starts to grow and new characters will come to watch the spectacle!

I backed this game! The developers are from The Netherlands, too.
There is a lot of new content in the video about this game; it's much like an RPG now, than before.

The game was updated on the VCS, before the Kickstarter, and the tree has now fully grown in-game.

Great news! Partly thanks to the extra publicity from Atari, for this game, apparently, the Kickstarter is funded.

Nice, funded with 28 days to go! Have to admit the game industry person in me is wondering how the heck you finish a game on $18,000 minus the 10% Kickstarter take and cost of backer rewards, but hopefully they've got other money somewhere.

I forgot to mention this before, but a few days ago I got the Backer-Kit notification by email.
I was able to choose Atari VCS as my beta-test platform, set my name for in the game, etc.

The full-game is getting closer! I'll post when I have more news. 🙂
