tschak909
#Atari8bit I have made SpartaDOS X ROM images for the Ultimate1MB containing the #FujiNet utilities. Instructions for flashing it to your U1MB can be found here: https://github.com/FujiNetWIFI/fujinet-platformio/wiki/SpartaDOS-X---Ultimate1MB---FujiNet-Utilities
flashjazzcat
If you want to put a >8K binary on CAR:, consider splitting it up into multiple files (say, '*.OVL', which is the convention I use, following SDX's own methods) and using a small stub loader to read them in.
tschak909
In this video, I show how to flash a version of SpartaDOS X onto your U1MB equipped #Atari8bit that includes the #FujiNet utilities, ready for use, with a minimum of fuss. 4
GreyHobbit
Which reset button should we use on the FujiNet during these operations? The right-hand button, or a long-press on button B? I saw an earlier post saying the right-hand button was a hard reset of the ESP32 and might cause problems, is that still the case? Thanks Geoff
tschak909
either reset button will work, for this. -Thom
Gunstar
@tschak909 I am just starting to do this update and following the instructions you linked too, but when I go to the second page of Atari-apps/Irata.online there is no Ultimate_1MB_FujiNet_and_UFlash.atr to select there, only fnc-tool-doc.atr and fnc-tools.atr. Has it been moved elsewhere or taken down for some reason? Thanks. Edited January 22, 2021 by Gunstar
tschak909
oh shit, did I delete it?! I'll fix that. sorry. -Thom edit: uploaded. Edited January 22, 2021 by tschak909

phigan
Not sure what all is involved in making an image for the individual hardware accessories, but I heard a new version of SDX was released. Perhaps when someone makes images of the latest version for U1MB and Side3, they could also make images like this with the FujiNet utilities... I'm enjoying Side3 + Fujinet, though I need to get more familiar with the command line tools.
tschak909
It's simple, you use the SDX Imager tool from the SDX Upgrade Project (the guys doing the spartados X releases): http://sdx.atari8.info/index.php?show=en_addons You grab the desired image you want to modify (e.g. the U1MB images), and drop the FujiNet tools on there. The main limitations are: * binaries can't be larger than 8K in size * only a certain # of entries in the cartridge directory (I think 127?) -Thom
