Tobe! Polystars on the 3DO / Konami M2

I wanted to revisit all five Konami / 3DO M2 arcade games after showing them off two years ago as a) my commentary has gotten a lot better lol and b) in Feb I am doing a virtual con and will be talking about the history of 3DO, the M2, and beta / rare hardware collecting in general. Seemed like as good a time as any to loop back around and take a closer / better look at these rare gems

 

Anyone else in here have M2 hardware? Always curious what's out there

I have been kicking myself to this day for parting with a 3DO M2 FZ-35S many years ago because the CD rom was not able to read IMSA racing and few other discs I had at the time. 

Wish your channel was around then, but fun to watch it now and all the progress you have made with research, video creation, etc.

 

I also have two original 3DOs, both Japanese spec: FZ-1 w/ factory 240P and USB Host mod and a NiB FZ-10.   

 

Still hoping I find another M2 someday....

Have read up on the M2 several times and find it really interesting.  I'd buy one if i came across one for sure but not paying ebay prices.

 

How many games/protos are actually playable on the system?   Great video.

It would be really cool seeing the Konami M2 arcade games being re-released but knowing that Konami hates their legacy, I'm not holding my breath of that happening...
