What if someone attempted to program an actual Garbage Pail Kids game or hacked Cabbage Patch Dolls Picnic in the Park to look like Garbage Pail kids?

Don't tell me that it couldn't be done.

The article I ran into was on cnn. 80's stuff if back in. So topps is suspose to be making new cards. I don't when or how many. Something like stickers only, 4 peices of gum and 4 stickers. Ouch 4 peice of gum? It was probably a typo in the story.

Later,

Josh

Garbage Pails Kids are coming back. I think the new series comes out in October, definitely in time for Christmas. I really hope they are still hand illustrated, those old cards had a certain charm to them, sort of like those Wacky Packages Stickers.

Holy Magilla Gorilla, I MUST have the new ones...I still have all my old ones, I mean TONS of them, most in mint condition. I was SO into GPK back in like the 5th grade, and just for nostalgia's sake, I have to have these. BTW, nice Fritz the Cat cart parody up there. Would that they would only actually MAKE a Fritz game. Hehe.

There's the link to the CNN story. Looks like there will be yet another nostalgic thing sucking my money up!

John Pound has also done work for MAD Magazine for years and years. I was a fan of his from way back, and I still enjoy an occasional issue of MAD now and again.

Wow! Wacky Packages! I loved those things when I was a kid. I even had a pillow my sister made for me out of fabric that had Wacky Packages on it.

That was a lonnnnng time ago. Mid 70's, for me.

Now I'm all hungry for Pop Rocks, too.

I had Wacky Package pajamas.... Hawaiian Punks.

I checked out that card box of cards I had, probably haven't opened it in a decade. To my suprise I did have some GPK.. I suppose it was hard to avoid them at one time. Also found some of those old video game scratch off games (All had been scratched :( ) , Wacky Packages, and the inferior artworked Fleer Crazy Lables, They are the stickers at the top with the dots all the way around the sticker.
