Brian R. #26 Posted August 7, 2003 I'd say Pac Man Arcade is a must-have. Every 2600 owner needs a good, playable version of Pac-Man!
Big Player #27 Posted August 7, 2003 @Godzilla Could I trade my Thrust + for that?
Godzilla #28 Posted August 7, 2003 I'd say Pac Man Arcade is a must-have. Every 2600 owner needs a good, playable version of Pac-Man! uhm thats a hack not a homebrew, and besides ms pac is easier and cheaper to get, and has more mazes.

Ok, seriously once more: (just in case...) It's not limited at all and it's definitely the final version.

Thomas Jentzsch #37 Posted August 8, 2003 You'll excuse me if I wait a year or 10, just to be sure.... Your problem, not mine. BTW: Someone contacted me, asking for a manual and box only. Maybe you could order a copy together and you can get a cheap cart that way.
StanJr #38 Posted August 8, 2003 Thomas, if you can make me a MONEY BACK guarantee (or at least an even swap guarantee) that THIS is the final THRUST revision. I will place my order IMMEDIATELY. That is my promise to you. Otherwise, wait I shall...

That is my promise to you. How about if I say that if Thomas dares make another version of Thrust, that I won't sell it? ..Al

MegaManFan #42 Posted August 8, 2003 I honestly don't see how it could get much better. It's brill as is. And happiest of all, I traded my old copy for Spy Hunter and three HTF ColecoVision games, and some happy Atarian now has his first homebrew.
raindog #43 Posted August 11, 2003 @Godzilla: best. label. evar. ob. thread: I wouldn't recommend the awesome Thrust or Marble Craze as a first homebrew game because Thrust is ridiculously, discouragingly hard and Marble Craze may demonstrate to you that your paddles suck and discourage you that way But you must buy them both because they're up there with Solaris in the "things the 2600 can't do, done" category. I wouldn't recommend Berzerk VE or my Pac-Man thingy or Adventure Plus as homebrews because, well, they're all hacks, not homebrews. I WOULD recommend the following, all of which are simple compared to the first batch but original unlike the second: Oystron This Planet Sucks Space Instigators Space Treat Deluxe umm, I had a 5th one but it's like 1:30 AM.... Thomas Jentzsch #44 Posted August 11, 2003 OystronThis Planet Sucks Space Instigators Space Treat Deluxe umm, I had a 5th one but it's like 1:30 AM.... Star Fire? Qb? Gunfight? ... And Thrust is not "ridiculously, discouragingly hard", after 15 years of constant training I can play it almost with my eyes closed.
