Savetz
Ya'll might enjoy this song, released for the first time this weekend: "My Atari" by Suzanne Ciani. She made this song in the early 1980s for Atari, but it was never released. It is *probably* about the Atari 2600 or 5200. https://ataripodcast.libsyn.com/antic-special-episode-my-atari-by-suzanne-ciani -Kay
rra
Thanks for posting. This is a really great postscript to your interview with Suzanne. It is a really catchy 80's song! Do you know if Suzanne was the lead singer on this song?

Emulator 67
I believe she is the artist that provided the sounds and voice of the pinball machine Xenon. Back in the arcades, that was my favorite pinball with the cool music and translucent ball tubeway.

I know she was new to the community at that time and I think she did a great job on this demo. If I come across any further news I’ll let you know." 1
Rom Hunter
Never heard this song before. Many thanks for sharing! Must be from 1982 or 1983.
Schmudde
@Savetz - the original interview is great. It spans a lot of ground - from Atari, to the music business, to synthesis (Buchla, vocoder). Super interesting! And, as usual, you've done a great job of archiving this significant piece of history. Thank you!
doctorclu
Love Suzanne!! This is so cool. Not the New Age music from her I'm used to, but hey!
