My Atari song by Suzanne Ciani

Recommended Posts

Thanks for posting.  This is a really great postscript to your interview with Suzanne.  It is a really catchy 80's song!  Do you know if Suzanne was the lead singer on this song?

I believe she is the artist that provided the sounds and voice of the pinball machine Xenon.  Back in the arcades, that was my favorite pinball with the cool music and translucent ball tubeway.

Suzanne told me: "I’m afraid I don’t have any information on the name of the vocalist. I know she was new to the community at that time and I think she did a great job on this demo. If I come across any further news I’ll let you know."

@Savetz - the original interview is great. It spans a lot of ground - from Atari, to the music business, to synthesis (Buchla, vocoder). Super interesting! And, as usual, you've done a great job of archiving this significant piece of history. Thank you!

Love Suzanne!!   This is so cool.   Not the New Age music from her I'm used to, but hey!
