Best games to put on Hatari

I'm wondering what the best/ most iconic games to put on the Hatari emulator are.

 

I don't have much experience with Atari games and so would like a list.

If  Sundog doesn't make the list, what's the point?

Go to YouTube and search for Joy of Sticks top 50. You will get the 50 best games as voted by the community. I think he has a blog to but the Videos will let you see them in action.

Sorry for my picknickness: folks, don't recommend too many games here, Hatari may break from too much weight 😄

I mean, it would be 'run on (or with) Hatari' .

 

OK, some my favorites:

Warhead - 3D space missions, realistic movement control

Potsworth & Co. - Platformer with 6 large levels, diverse heroes

Backlash - simple fun shooter

Dungeon Master - No. 1

The old turn based ZX Spectrum game Chaos! was ported to the ST and has sharp graphics, pop culture sound samples, and runs quick. Love it! 

 

Defender of the Crown was always a favorite of mine. 

 

Gauntlet II is a very well done arcade conversion. Nothing like it at the time for home play. 

 

Blood Money is colorful, has groovy music, and is hard as balls. Never actually finished it. Two players simultaneous also. 

 

Starball is a superb pinball game, released as shareware way back when.

 

 

Vroom is a fast and smooth racing game that controls with the mouse.

 

Stunt Car Racer is loads of fun.
