Intymike
I just watched the first 5 minutes. Activision and Compact Disc were also not around in 1979. 1982 seems to be legit.
David Rolfe
Not to mention that the Keyboard Component wasn't around in 1979. And the Master Component didn't make it to retail shelves until early 1980. We can hear a fragment of one of Jack LaLanne's pep talks (for Exercise Cassette) in the background here. Neat!

+Lathe26
At 25:22 "Big video brother is watching you" ? At 26:32, it looks like a Mattel Managing Director is giving his sales pitch (narrator briefly introduces him before this time mark). However, it is in German. It would be awesome to know what he is saying in English, especially from a historical perspective.

He says that they want to sell the Intellivision through TV/Radio stores. And that with it's add ons it will be a PC good for learning, like languages etc.

If your German is rusty, cut and paste that long word into Google translate.
