bluejay
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4167139 I'll be blunt; I know next to nothing about 3d printing, and I don't own a 3d printer. But if you can make like 5 of these that are durable enough to function properly, that'd be great. I'll can pay a few bucks plus shipping. Thanks! +stupus
That guy is selling 12 for $8, cant you just buy them from him?
eightbit
I've used www.makexyz.com a few times and it worked out great. But, sometimes, the price is not worth it. Still, you can upload the STL files and see what it will run you.
+stupus
I dont see how anyone could or would want to be less than the like 65 cents a piece the file creator has them for?
bluejay
Actaully, I was a bit confused about the shapeways link he posted, as it had the same price regardless on how many gears I chose. If it's actually the same price for whatever amount I want, then I'll most definitely order a few from him. If that wasn't the case though, I wanted to ask if someone here was willing to make some for me.
+stupus
Looks like its $8.00 from 1 up to 12 if you want 12. If you want 5 thats still comes to $1.60 a piece. A very, very good price for a already tuned in resin mold. But you may as well take the 12 if its the same price and split it with somebody or save the spares.
Bratwurst
That's not how Shapeways works, they are $8 a piece, plus shipping. Add the quantity to your cart and you'll see. These are very small, high detail parts that require a resin printing process, which most home 3D printers (FDM type) can't do.
+stupus
You have to select the size too. That is the true quantity. It stays at $8 until you go over 12 pieces which is 1 order of the extra large size.
