ApolloBoy #1 Posted August 6, 2003 But you also get lots of typos! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4&category=3528
MrRetroGamer #2 Posted August 6, 2003 Even their user ID looks like a typo: kays-kloset? Not really the type of seller I'd feel comfortable forking over $100's of $$ to, especially without pics of the carts and no shipping cost specified. Who knows what you'll really get - obviously some people don't care who they do business with.

moycon #4 Posted August 7, 2003 I saw this a few days ago and passed. This person has another auction up with no spelling mistakes. I wonder if most of these games are repos someone made and put crazy lables on the cart or something??? Seems very strange to me that one auction would be FULL of mistakes and the other not one. Neither has a pic so it's hard to tell.
Spirantho #5 Posted August 7, 2003 I think you`re being rather cynical here... The 100 cart auction starts off without typos, it's only as the auction listing goes on the typos start creeping in. And let's be honest, if you didn`t know anything about Atari carts, and you had to type up the names of 100 of the things, you`d get a bit careless, too! As for the id, "kays_kloset" - er, that's not a typo, that's just alliteration.
MrRetroGamer #6 Posted August 7, 2003 As for the id, "kays_kloset" - er, that's not a typo, that's just alliteration. I was making a joke about it, and forgot the appropriate smiley to go next to it. I'd personally still pass on this seller, just a gut feeling on my part. I feel that this is exactly the type of seller that someone will "take-a-chance" on, roll the dice if you will, and then complain about how they got ripped off. joeybastard #9 Posted August 7, 2003 Male Mania is listed in the games. I think I'd stay away from that one no matter how rare the game is
robsbucs #10 Posted August 7, 2003 I've emailed the seller 3 times and no response. maybe if i win ill get one at the end of the auction??? No but im sure they dont know much about the games and probably bought them at a garage sale. They have good feedback so i guess ill have to take that chance....i dont have quadrun but i have the rest of the games. I thought about a bid retraction because they havent responded to emails but maybe there ebay email account is wrong(you know the email account ebay has for them)?? Ill roll the dice and see.... dougy76 #11 Posted August 7, 2003 Male Mania is listed in the games. I think I'd stay away from that one no matter how rare the game is Dude it could be a one of a kind, long lost Mystique or Playaround game.
madblownaway #12 Posted August 7, 2003 Yea and notice when he had his last feedback...jun????
robsbucs #13 Posted August 7, 2003 ok and in 2 months seller has went bad??????? what does that mean??? Before 2 months ago i hadnt bought anything off ebay for like 6 weeks or so....does that make me unreliable?? Check my feedback.....
CPUWIZ #14 Posted August 7, 2003 No but there is definately something fishy about this auction, it's a gut feeling.
robsbucs #15 Posted August 7, 2003 im kinda worried myself.....but im gonna be sure to ask alot of questions(if i win) when the auction ends.....trust me
Spirantho #16 Posted August 8, 2003 Doesn`t look fishy to me at all. Look at her feedback ratings - mostly for clothes. I'd say it's _much_ more likely that she's just been given these to get rid of or something, she obviously doesn`t know anything about Atari, and doesn`t think they're worth much, hence no pictures. Maybe she hasn`t checked her email for a while? Anyway, I've seen much more dodgy auctions than this...
Atarinuts #17 Posted August 8, 2003 It's obvious that this seller started drinking when they started the listing and got more and more hammered as they continued typing.
Dolt #18 Posted August 8, 2003 Reading that listing, it sounds to me like a two-person job--one person read off the titles while the other one typed poorly and listened even more poorly.
