nadir
I've got the Atari 2600 Remote Control joysticks and noticed that they don't work with the Mattel games (for 2600) I have. I'm actually using these joysticks with a 7800, so perhaps a little bit non-standard configuration, but they work fine with all the other games I've tried. Problem is specific to the Mattel games which act like they are getting random directional input and button presses. Any workarounds for this other than just using wired joysticks (all of which seem to work fine with those games)?
Swami
Tried an actual 2600?

My heavy sixer is long since gone and back when I did have it I really never used this controllers as feeding it batteries was too expensive for us.
