meh--   I like the GBA SP form factor as it is.   Folds up and very compact!

Its like how the dmg I had as a kid should of been all along.  No scrappy green screen.  Beautiful crisp colors.  And plays gba also.

I really like the idea of this for probably only two reasons...

 

1. Rescue a broken SP - The only thing you really bring from the original system is some buttons and the mobo.

 

2. Prefer this shape to the squashed feeling of the SP.

 

I mean the original GBA is still my preferred shape and style, but I think it's a neat idea overall.

Don't get the "mac" bit. I like it though and might see about getting one. Most my gbasp handhelds get scrapped to backlight first ten one gba handhelds. Love the sp2 screen, but always hated the clamshell design.

 

I was just always bummed that basically your throwing away a (usually) fully functional gba just for the screen.

Neat design and idea, but sheesh... Just because something is made of aluminium doesn't make it a "MacBook".

And call me old-fashionned but for me, MacBook are white ?

The chromed buttons doesn't say "Apple" either.

But still, neat idea to save a broken Sp. Doesn't solve the absurdly minuscule size of the thing but heh.
