awbacon
I appreciate that Nintendo is bringing all the Wii U games to Switch, as really not many people probably played them back on the Wii U...but Pikmin 3 is def one of those games that loses something when you don't have the second screen
Asaki
I liked the demo a lot, had never played any of the games before. Wound up finding it on eBay for less than $
+jgkspsx
For my money, a LOT of games were better with the Gamepad. Shame that the range was pretty crappy.
DL_
The GamePad had great usage and incredible untapped potential. Glad to see screen controllers aren't dead (Amico). They seemed to be more dead than dinosaurs.

Without the second screen the game must have lost a ton of cool features. It was one of the few games that used the gamepad pretty much to its full potential.

I've read it is much harder without the gamepad mechanics wise
Asaki
Yeah, I really can't imagine ZombiU without the Gamepad. Then again, I have no desire to play Resident Evil 4 without a Wiimote/nunchuck, either.

ZombiU without the gamepad isn't worth it imo
+slx
It's a shame the Switch can't be used like a WiiU with the Switch screen showing the gamepad contents and the TV showing the main game screen. Probably not enough graphics power to serve two screens (although it's strange as the Wii U has enough). Maybe Nintendo will be ready to give the two-screen concept another try with the next generation console.

The dock is literally just a USB-C to HDMI adapter and USB hub. I would love to see the dual screen concept revisited as it facilitated some of my favorite game experiences ever on the DS/3DS and on the WiiU. But I am not getting my hopes up.
