atrax27407
Does anyone have copies of either (or both) of these DSRs for the HFDC? I understand that they are flawed but I would like copies of each to complete my HFDC DSR series. Thanks!

+mizapf
Is there a list of changes for the DSR variants?
atrax27407
H14 - changed the head step times to 8ms and 4ms H15 - removed floppy disk access for those with with RAMdisks as DSK4+ (hard drive access only) H16 - Removed hard disk access (floppy access onlt)
+mizapf
OK, then H11 was not a bad choice if you wanted both floppy and hard disk. I remember that I had some floppy drive issues with the HFDC back in those times, so I used a separate floppy controller. Interesting to see that people could wish to remove the HD support.
+Schmitzi
wasn´t there any change to the onboard switches with H14 ? I slightly remember this was mentioned before
atrax27407
Not with the altered DSRs. The changes were made in the EPROM. Except for H14 where the two head step settings (i.e., switches) were substituted for the original when the corresponding switch was used.
