Diecrusher
Never messed with Plato before. I am using the Plato included with the Finalgrom zip file from whtech. I am wondering if my issue sounds like a hardware or software issue. I remember trying it a few weeks ago and it would get to the boot screen and then bomb but that was because I didn't have a disk in DSK1. I've now made a proper DSK1 diskette of one the the courseware disks using DSK2PC. When I boot Plato from the finalgrom I just get a blank purple screen and no disk activity. If I reset the FG and launch Plato I still get the blank screen but sometimes accompanied with a screeching sound out of the speakers. Also, if I get this working is there a way to using the courseware files from TIFILES on the HDX1 instead of a real diskette?
+arcadeshopper
Nope it only works on a real disk or gotek or nano so far.. what are you usingSent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk
+Ksarul
The main issue with the disks is that they put the catalog track somewhere completely different. Plato expects to be able to read that odd catalog track to pull up the software. It also expects all of the standard low-level access routines of the disk controller DSR to be present when reading disks.
