He might be able to reduce the DNS troubles by reducing TTL (Time-To-Live) values of the entries before changing them as some name server service providers allow it to be done. Since not all name servers between the client and the origins authoritative name server will enforce TTL, there still might be caching time involved.

 

The end user can flush their caches on their OS and browsers, just google it up for whatever your machine is running. Flush your DNS, Hosts, and pages.

 

There appears to be some work in either case. If there is a care to do so.

 

There used to be a way to get the DNS caches flushed for google et al. so you could try those avenues.

 

Don't forget you network equipment may cache as well. So clear them and cycle them...ving

 

That will be all you can do.  If there is still a problem, he's going to dig to fix it. Or not...

 

Hopefully it's improving as time passes naturally.

 

email the guy and make him aware this happens, and maybe pass on the suggestions, perhaps he will talk with someone and iron it out.
