tantone56 #1 Posted August 9, 2003 Hey guys I wrote awhile back about buying a halloween game for the atari 2600. I asked you guys if you could tell if it was real or fake you couldnt tell from the pic. well I got it today and its a fake, that didnt bother me cause I suspected it but when I went to go and play it the cartridge wont fit in the system. I wrote to the guy but I also have insurance on the item If I send it back to him who should pay for shipping and handeling, I paid to have it shipped to my house. Or should I just go and claim the insurance? Its your guys call. -tantone56
rpmxxipt #2 Posted August 10, 2003 Insurance isn't going to cover you for lost or misrepresented goods, only goods damaged during shipping. What you should do is get a good heavy pair of boots and maybe a maul, and just grind that fake Halloween cartridge into shards out on the curb. Wrap the debris with Priority Mail shipping tape, take pictures, and THEN claim insurance. Then again, the seller's the one holding the insurance receipts, if you don't trust him to start with, what makes you think he's going to refund you on an insurance claim? -rpm-
jetset #3 Posted August 10, 2003 You should also post the sellers username here to warn your fellow Atarians...

tantone56 #5 Posted August 11, 2003 the insurance i got wasnt for shipping it was for the item. If the seller does not help to resolve this problem promply you can sure bet that they get mentioned as bad sellers on the thread. -tantone56
