And one person (you) will get extra 5 points for game 2 and one person (you) will get extra 5 points for game 5? If so.... Look Zaxxon is rough no doubt, but I think Beamrider and Microsurgeon are awesome. The detail alone in Microsurgeon is fantastic.... To me it's a 'fun' game to play... Very different from anything else offered for the Intellivision. Also, there are still 2 weeks left to play Microsurgeon and mr_me hasn't even put in a score for this one yet. IntyFanMatt Posted April 12, 2021 Share Posted April 12, 2021 (edited) Microsurgeon is very unique and I think it’s a great game, and certainly one of the better games on the system. I haven’t had a chance to enter a score, but I really like it. The level of creativity that went into this one is amazing for the early 80s. And it’s great to see it being played here. For example... the bullet should travel a lot further. Instead of disappearing just before it hits the olive spiders or tapeworms. All of your comments made me think back to when I got the game. It BLEW me away !!! For sure. it’s just the weapon disappearing before it hits the olive spiders and tapeworms that really frustrates me! I also installed cable TV for my patient and served him the deluxe dinner after surgery and neither of those things appeared on his bill !!! That was another source of frustration for me. If someone considered this an “edutainment” game, it could be one of the best, haha. But I do remember from 38 years ago, the manual was incredible! I felt like I took a course in pre-med!!! Especially with the poster of the body! it’s a miracle that I remembered all the buttons from playing one weekend in 1982!
