Wow, this is cool!  I never knew of this Star Raiders themed McDonald's game before.  Did anyone here ever get these at game cards McDonald's back in 1982?  I hope some lucky kid got the Atari computer that was the grand prize for this game. Were the other Atari titles that McDonald did a game for?

For the prizes, I'm wondering what they considered a "Giant Screen TV" in 1982?   The back says it's a "General Electric Widescreen 4000",  I can't find any information on that model,  but I see info for a GE Widescreen 1000,  which they claim is 3x larger than a 25"  TV   (does that mean 75"  or would that be 9x larger?)

Closer to 8 times bigger than a 25”

Tv 75” diag (16:9) = 65.4in x 36.8in = 2406 sq in

Tv 25” diag (4:3) = 20in x 15in = 300 sq in

I scratched off quite a few of those tickets back when the contest was going. I had a Vic-20, but I really wanted an Atari 400 or 800.

My grandmother would find chores for me every day, and I'd get to go buy a burger, fries and drink (I don't think they had meals at the time), and of course get a ticket...sometimes two if my cousin was working.

I got a C-64 instead.

As stated above there were 4 video game cards (Asteroids, Centipede, Missile Command, and Star Raiders). I was lucky enough to get a stack of Asteroids cards from my aunt and uncle that went to McD's on the last day of the contest and they gave them to me. I scratched all of them hoping to win, but didn't. So I have them in my collection today!.......

A 75" CRT would have to weigh a literal ton lol.
