vrocko Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 I think I've got all of the Sega Dreamcast racing games and just purchased Arcade Racing Legends. Nice game and well done. I'd like to see more like this. I also saw a couple of arcade racing games from Atomiswave that I'd like to add to my collection, Maximum Racing and Faster than Speed. I see they are in .GDI format but haven't been converted to .CDI format. I know I can play them on an emulator but I'd love to play them on my DC. If you are a racing fan Arcade Racing Legends is really good and the graphics are good too. A lot of cars to choose from like the Batmobile, Ghostbusters car and the Back to the Future DeLorean (well kinda like them, can't really use the actual model without someone complaining about copyright or trademark infringement, but you know what they are.). As well as the Crazy Taxi taxi, Dayton USA stock car, Outrun Ferrari and more! Nice tracks and scenery too. Hope they do more like this! str0m Posted April 6, 2021 Share Posted April 6, 2021 The two AW games are ok, graphics not great considering the time of release but that was due to the hardware. There was a thread with CDI versions of most of the AW releases on the forum where they were first announced but it looks like all related threads have gone unless I'm being stupid. The "radio" track was awesome and it was the perfect blend of arcade + depth.
