Atari XE Remake Pre Order Thread

Hello Panos

Can you give an estimate of the price by now?  20-30 euro, 40-50 euro, more?

BTW the ABBUC site is down at the moment.  I'm sure that if people there hear about the 130XE remake, some of them will want to order.  But since it's down...

Sincerely

Mathy

Hi Mathy,

Pcb supply from me reached the end from this moment. I have already sold all the ordered pcbs.

But... Abbuc have already order a batch of pcb's, and from now on they will the only suppliers of this till the stock ends.
I am sure that they announce it when they are back again. I hope this to be soon.

Hello Panos,

I noticed Quantity 2 for the PJ-102AH power connector.  Is this correct?

Note that this is the alternative voltage supply link, in the case of missing the 7 pin DIN of the Atari. You will also need a 5 volt power supply, with a corresponding connector to operate the computer.
The original can be found cheaper than this of the big suppliers, here.

Would someone want to serve as single source US for this connector via Paypal payment?

I am also looking for 1 keyboard connector.

2nd question, can we use standard off the shelf crystals instead of the Atari Brand crystals?  Like this one for NTSC machines.

You'd have to come up with a format conversion method.  Most Atari 8bit OSCs are two pin only.  HU49 footprint I believe.

The drawing had me curious that it might accept both. I used my 3 item limit at Best to get VSLI chips. :) so, I am looking for other alternatives.

Yes it can as the original one! And to be more specific is an oscillator.

Its main difference compared to plain crystal, is that it needs voltage to work.

This also work just fine.

Anyone interested in a bulk purchase of this keyboard connector to save some shipping cost?  It appears the shipping from the vendor is $24.

Can you decide how many do you want? After, I could include these at your parcels.

Updated - I have taken Mr. Robots offer concerning these Keyboard Connectors.
