glorfindeal1 #1 Posted May 3, 2021 (edited) I don’t suppose anyone is working on porting Starglider and Starglider 2 to the Jag? These were my favorite games on the ST. Edited May 3, 2021 by glorfindeal1 Misspelling

rayr #5 Posted July 14, 2021 (edited) StarGlider II was to me at the time the the most cutting edge and mind blowing game I wanted to play in the 16bit era. It was the first time I actively searched for the author of the game (Jez San). Great game and great concept. It would be awesome on the Jaguar running at blazing speed I'm sure. So did you find Jez San? How did that go? Always fun to talk to the programmers, producers, and so on of games you like (for me Faran Thomason/Andrew Seed for Jaguar Bubsy, and Michael Berlyn/Scott Williamson of first Bubsy game). rayr #7 Posted July 28, 2021 I was never able to contact him back then.. many years ago but their were many articles about his work on Star Glider I/II and then his company Argonaut Games. Of course his company designed the SuperFX risc chip for Nintendo which led to StarFox. Later I started following John Carmack of Id software another programming genius. Jez fell out of the mainstream but still works in the industry on and off.

I made an attempt years ago, when I was knocking around doing crude attempts at interviews, got as far as his Press Officer and like John Carmack, that was an absolute brick wall to even attempt to breach. Blunt statement that Jez/John were not conducting interviews at this time.
