PEB Backplane card edge connectors

I have a blank PEB backplane board for the PEB cards to plug into but it is not populated with the edge card connectors.

Anyone have a source for the edge card connectors that they know works so i can purchase 8 of these.

I think this one will work, but would like a 2nd or 3rd pair of eyes to verify.

Sorry, can't verify the fit. Just sharing.

What is the connector row spacing in the PBOX? is it the common 0.2" (5.08mm)?

Sometime last year, I ordered misc card edge connectors on electronicsurplus.com.

But skipped this 60-pin one: Amphenol - 252-30-50-004 for TRW as too obsolete.

They have a lot of junk.

I learned these part numbers though:

60-pin 0.1" pitch with no flanges:

TE or AMP 5530843-7 has 0.125" or 0.187" solder tails, according to a 2010 catalog, which your Arrow part also links to. Arrow lists it as 0.125".

TE or AMP 1-5530843-8 is the 0.187" solder tail.  Now $2 at Newark, vs $4 elsewhere.

EDAC 345/395 series - the 345-060-520-201 decodes as 520 = 0.175" solder tail, 201 = no flange. $4-$5 everywhere.

Height: Typically extend 0.66" above the pcb. I don't have a disassembled P-box, but I can see the TI part rises 0.5" above the metal plate that hides the PCB backplane.

Also I can't measure solder tails!

If you think you need the longer solder tails, Newark is $2.21 for the 1-5530843-8.

Those should work fine, @Shift838. The backplane is 2.54mm between pins and those look to be thin enough to fit through the holes (although, I think even the wire-wrap connector pins I have will fit, so those backplanes are pretty flexible).

Thanks!  i'll order some Samples.  TE.com lets you order samples of that part and many others..

So I got to wondering about the TI part number marked on the P-box connector. I searched around the web for surplus like it, and came up with this table.

part no pins pitch flange notes

H411 1 2 1 -12 12/24 0.156 yes
H411 1 3 1 -18 18/36 0.156 yes solder eyelets
H412 0 2 1 -43A 43/86 0.156 no tin
H421 0 2 1 -30 30/60 0.100 no p-box
H421 0 2 1 -50 50/100 0.100 no tin
H421 1 1 1 -50 50/100 0.100 yes bronze
H435 1 1 1 -50 50/100 0.125 yes wire wrap, gold
H435 2 1 1 -50 50/100 0.125 yes wire wrap, bronze?

H
 ^^^ Series
 412 0.156" (maybe F12?)
 421 0.100"
 435 0.125" wire wrap

     0 no flange
     1 flange
     2

       1 gold
       2 tin
       3 solder eyelets

         1 ?

I wonder if other TI peripherals yield additional part numbers.
