I was pressing a button to move forward, but couldn't figure out how to move backwards or jump or do literally anything. kermit73 Posted May 22, 2021 Share Posted May 22, 2021 Spike's Peak: 148000 Mountain King: 36690 BMX: 25470 It's been a rough couple of weeks for me, including a kidney stone, an surgery, anesthesia side effects causing intense muscle pain, and a follow-up surgery in a week or two. The only game I really spent much time on before all this drama was Spike's Peak. I figure I'll post what I have and if I feel well enough to play later tonight or tomorrow will try to get something better to post for Mountain King and BMX. I really want to at least pass the first level of Mountain King - it just may not happen this week. I just started reading an Atari Compendium page about the Easter eggs in Mountain King - http://www.ataricompendium.com/game_library/easter_eggs/vcs/26mountainking.html. I really wish all the development time spent on these elaborate Easter eggs was instead spent improving the joystick movement, especially when it comes to jumping.
