Boot Straight to BIOS???

Recommended Posts

is there a way to change a setting in the bios so the VCS auto boots to the BIOS instead of the Atari OS?

It would make engaging a M2 drive with Windows and a bunch of USB items hooked up a lot easier (see my previous post on Logitech wireless keyboards)

That's not something I've ever seen as an option in a BIOS, so I don't think so.
I think you just want a boot menu, and for that, it's possible with Refind as described in another thread.

Raisons I use differents multi boot loader such as :

Grub2 for all system supported by Atari

rEFInd : for others systems (require to desactivate Enforce Secure Boot)

Hello, @Destro 83 @justclaws

I was wrong about my last response, it is possible again

1/ Place in Boot section

2/ For Add boot option, choose "fist", confirm

3/ Go down to EFI, enter in menu

4/ indicate your defined boot order

5/ Press F10 buton to save changes

6/ Confirm changes, Yes

The console shutdown and restart on defined boot order
