EDIT: I got this in the mail yesterday and played for the first time. It's a head-scratching concept. Buzz Bombers is a game in which success is tied to eradicating bees and failure is defined as pollination manifested as new flowers on the playfield. It was a problem in my family back in the early '80s, "why do you always have to play war?" (war in a wider sense) Why should one see it like this, yes you spray those poor bees to dead, but it's a game does a child ever care to kill in a game? Nope! It's us parents who start to think different about that and aren't able to differ between fantasy and reality and not the kids. Tom Morton who started Pioneer Space Sim mailed me once: "do you have always to play war and does your ships really all need this phallic extensions?" Erm , YES! "Tom even Chess is a game of war but who is arguing about killing in this game?" "Poor peasants" yes goddammit poor peasants! I like Buzz Bombers and play it from time to time, it's a challenging shooter game. "Vampire Hummingbirds" ohkeh now i understand why to some Zebras are painted Horses, Orang-Utans actors in fur dresses and Hummingbirds are robots. Lathe26 when it comes to find the weirdest stuff in web you lead for sure.
