Custom Atari 800 keyboard

Hi everyone,

A little while ago I was able to get an Atari 800 that was in pretty great condition with the exception of a needed cleaning. I decided that I wanted to make a custom keyboard using the original Atari's keyboard with the same switches and PCB. After taking the whole thing apart and separating the keyboard portion I learned the PCB was a Mitsumi KSD hybrid (ksd-a58au). I now don't know where to go because I was unable to find a complete Matrix or a new modernized PCB replacement. I also don't know what to do if I find a matrix as setting up a micro controller to interpret the and transfer it to usb sounded too complex for me. I was wondering where I should go from here. If anyone is able to provide useful information like a matrix or some idea as to how to make the PCB usb compatible it would be very appreciated. Thank you!
