MichaelJMcKernan
I've thought of making a large mosaic in the shape of Pac man out of the ultra rare 2600 Pac Man cart...anybody ever do anything stupid with carts like that before? As a matter of fact, I was planning on doing something like that with Berzerk carts if I ever get my rec room finished.

sku_u
CPUWIZ is gonna corner the dig dug market. oh no! Well...he just added an addition to his house and decided that since the rest of the house's walls, furniture, shower curtains are made out of Atari carts, he wanted to have an entire room wallpapered with nothing but Dig Dug carts since that has always been his favoriite 2600 game. CPUWIZ
LMAO, nobody seems to have any extra Dig Dug's at all.
+5-11under
I'm keeping mine and you know why. 5-11under Not really. Because it's got the Superchip separate from the ROM chip. 5-11under
Desolate One
I actually don't even have one for the 2600!
christianscott
i'll see if i have any around, i owe you for the froggers, but pray tell why do you need only dig dugs?
+-^CrossBow^-
I suspect that has a lot to do with Eckhart's new 144kb 7800 dev project. Reading on the specs for that...the super chip is used in one of the ram cart projects. Perhaps CPUWIZ has some plans to sell off a few? CPUWIZ
Not one single cart, not one. Oh well, perhaps I won't attempt this project afterall. And no, it has nothing to do with a 7800 RAM cart.
Xot
Mayhaps the rarity of "2" needs to be called into question. I certainly think it warrants at least a 3. I don't see nearly as many Dig Dugs as I do, say, Berzerks or Space Jockeys. I'd help you out if I could CPUWIZ, but I have no spare Dig Dugs nor have I seen any. What DID happen to all the ones used at the Dig Dug Drop, anyway?

candiru
Now I understand about the people walking away with injuries. Sort of like a balloon drop, only pointier.
Atari Rescue Group
I've plegded 2 Dig Dugs for CPUWIZ's project (whatever it is). I'm guessing it's not a napkin-holder contraption. There must be some more of them out there......
xulchris
I think maybe you can make NTSC Klax carts with them? I don't know, can you burn a Klax ROM onto a used DigDug chip? I checked my stash and I don't have any extra's, sorry cpuwiz

oesii
You know I went through about 5 or 6 hundred commons today at the flea market and not one Dig Dug. I was wondering if one of your spies had already raided the place

MegaManFan
I only had one spare that I can remember, and it was a gift from a friend (he'd even written his name on it as a kid, it was a "Coxed" cart). I saved a couple of boxes from the Dig-Dug Drop that weren't crushed in the stampede and put it in a box with the instructions and gave it back to him as a gift, and kept the other for another loose copy I found. I really think there's no conspiracy here. Dig-Dug just happens to be a really good VCS game. Not an arcade perfect translation, but a damn fine translation considering what console it's on. Therefore people who have it keep it and who don't want it.
