Atari 1050 Disk Drive

Hello folks I recently purchased an Atari 1010 tape recorder to go along with my 800 xl setup.

 

I came across the following listing on eBay and wondered if this was a good price ?

Yikes... That's $222 Canadian dollars for a disk drive? They are routinely $50 or less here... (Though often untested/unknown condition). Maybe $100 for a demonstrably good tested drive. How much can it cost to ship to the UK?

Hello thanks for the reply. I am based in the Uk and it is a UK seller postage is free on this item. He did send me an offer of about six pounds less but still 40 year old hardware with no warranty of any kind I suppose its a bit of a gamble no matter what the price is but it does appear to be in great condition.

Looks like you'll need a UK power supply for it. Price is high for US but unsure about UK.  Condition looks good. Unsure if it's been opened and tampered with.

There's one currently for £75, untested, still people bidding.

I believe the going rate is about £100 working.

 

Another in a dog eared box for £225 😮 but working (from a dealer)
