The End 2600

Left Difficulty: B

Right Difficulty: B

Game Mode: Game 1

GAME CREATED BY: Carlos Centeno (aka our very own HSC player RaymanC !)

SPACE BANDITS are trying to steal bricks from your defense bases to create a message for humanity.

Your mission is to defend your bases, destroying as many SPACE BANDITS as you can with your SPACESHIP before they can complete their chilling message. But be careful; these SPACE BANDITS are not alone. From the depths of space, the MOTHERSHIP approaches!

Beware humans...

The End is near!

Robot City

Left Difficulty: B

Right Difficulty: B

Game Mode: Game 3

GAME CREATED BY: Thomas Jentzsch

The year is 2601. An unknown mechanical life form has touched down on the dark side of the moon!

Mining, building and replicating; it has begun to cover the surface with astonishing speed, appropriating our outposts and communication towers. Any attempt to halt the progress of this ‘Robot City’ is met with resistance from the hundreds of intelligent robot tanks (iBots) that swarm all over it.

Equipped with an indestructible protective shield and massive firepower, they have wiped out almost all of our forces. You and your hypercopter are the only hope left!

Fortunately, the iBots have a weakness - their shields only protect the front and sides of the craft. Also, by using the walls of the city to protect yourself, it is even possible to trick their A.I. to make them shoot one another.

But beware! Destroy one group and, in the next area, a more aggressive pack will be waiting to hunt you down!

Tower of Rubble

Left Difficulty: B

Right Difficulty: B

Game Mode: Game 1

GAME CREATED BY:   dionoid

Set in 1932, you are a British adventurer, who has just stolen a valuable golden mask from the ruins of an old Inca tower on a small deserted island off the coast of Ecuador. Locals avoid the island and its tower, as rumor has it that the old Incas brought it to life, so it could protect the treasure hidden inside. In their indigenous Quechua language, descendants of the Incas call the tower “Turri Raqay”, which roughly translates to “Tower of Rubble”.

What seemed like an easy pick up, quickly turns into a nightmare. Soon after snatching the golden mask from its pedestal and walking back to leave the island, you find that hot lava is emerging from the sea that surrounds the island. You are trapped!

And to make things worse, at that very moment the tower awakes and turns out to have a very malicious personality…

Welcome to Season 11's Homebrew Weeks!

I have given our players 3 whole weeks to play these awesome NEW homebrew games that have NEVER been played before in the HSC.

(This also gives me a chance to take a small break myself from updating/calculating scores).

The creators will also be joining the forum to give some tips and check out your reactions and to see how high our scores can get.

If you like the game, PLEASE go buy a copy in the AA store. The boxes and artwork are amazing! (I have bought all 3 games but have yet to receive them in the mail)

So thank you Creators for allowing us to play your games! We appreciate your hard work!

ENJOY!!!

Tower of Rubble: 96

I'm curious to see if anyone finds a way to score more than 96 on this game.  At some point, you will end up with three towers - a tall one in the middle and two shorter ones to the left and right.  When the score reaches 96, the center tower dissolves, so unless there is a way I've not yet discovered to move to either the left or right tower, I believe that this is the highest score possible for this game.

At around the 60 mark go all the way to either the far right or left and hang off the ledge.then you get get across and hang out there till the middle falls out.

Tower of Rubble (1 B/B): 240

Amazed with the music, having a training level, and smooth animation of the character.

To hang you have to be facing the opposite direction of where you want to hang then tap the down direction once!

Once your hanging you can jump by tapping  left or right if at the same height or higher and no more than a 2 block gap.

Which version of Stella are you using ??

Thanks Rayman. That was indeed it. I was using a very old version of Stella, and the game wouldn't run on it for some reason (have never had that issue before). Have downloaded a current version, and am now able to play. . . . . .which is a very good thing, as the game is fab ?

Tower of Rubble is cool, but if you make a mistake, it takes a long time to get back to where you were. Repeating the parts you already have memorized is a bit tedious... It would have been cool to use the button to increase the tempo.
