Replacing PEB On/Off Switch

Hello, all:

 

I recently acquired a PEB with a push button on/off switch. The switch is stuck in the on position, so I plan to replace it with a simple toggle switch.

 

Do any of you have advice? It's seems straightforward to me, but I have not worked with the PEB before.

My PEB has a similar problem - It seems to be caused by the case breakout being a tight fit and the switch being mounted so that it bends easily.  Other than replacing the switch (which I'd find a bit ugly), has this problem be solved by others and how?

oh, I had this once before and my PEBs cover was not sitting correct, maybe due to transport or open/closing it, it sat lopsided and harmed the switch. I had to loosen all screws of the PEBs cover, and to "treat", to move the cover a little bit in all directions. Just watch the button then. (But I think this are not the problems here, because I think in both cases both cases were dismounted and checked)

Can you post a picture of the actual internal switch? I think I may have some switches that could be used as a replacement. I remember seeing a picture of one but the PEB's I have now are the newer toggle switch variety.

Turns out this was it. After a minor adjustment, the button pops on and off easily. Thanks again.
