francouai
Hello guys, I recently bought two brand new boxed Atari Lynx 2. But with dead condition. (no boot, no screen, no LED, no noise, NOTHING!) I changed all Caps, MOSFET Q12, Zener diode D13, Transistors Q7/Q8 and R78 Resistor. I was very confident after the work... But all these changes did not fix the dead condition. The controller ribbon looks fine, I also did a short cut on PIN 6/7 to avoid any ribbon problem.. Any idea what to change will be great. +-^CrossBow^-
Connect +5 directly to the + and - sides of cap C41 to provide power to the lynx and completely bypass the power stage. But you have to make sure you are providing right at +5 to prevent damage to any of the IC due to over voltage. With a cartridge inserted, it will power straight on and at least let you know if the rest of the logics are good and allow you to focus totally on the power input stage. francouai
sound good. If no power up on C41, what can be to problem ?

At that point you have to start tracing how far the power is getting and check to see if the ICs are getting power where needed.
