Harry Potter #1 Posted Tuesday at 07:48 PM Hi! I'm pleased to announce the completion of my first two Atari 800 projects. Thy are AtaSimpleIO and MadLibAtari. AtaSimpleIO is a shortened version of the standard ANSI C console functions in case you don't need the full features of printf(), and MadLibAtari is my rendition of the famous MadLib word game for the Atari. Coming are MemXAtari, a memory enhancement for cc65 to access all of the Atari X's RAM, and Template Creator Atari, a utility to handle template files. MadLibAtari can be found at https://sourceforge.net/projects/cc65extra/files/game/, and AtaSimpleIO at https://sourceforge.net/projects/cc65extra/files/ui/. Try it out, and tell me what you think! BTW, does Fields work on the Atari? It is in the same place as AtaSimpleIO.
Harry Potter #2 Posted Tuesday at 07:49 PM BTW, where can I upload them?
www.atarimania.com #3 Posted Tuesday at 08:21 PM You should really weed out all the spelling mistakes in MadLibAtari.
Harry Potter #4 Posted Tuesday at 09:05 PM Are they with the stories or the function calls? I don't understand how they got past me when everybody I know hails me for being a good speller.
www.atarimania.com #5 Posted Tuesday at 09:29 PM To be honest, it seems there are just two: - "someting" instead of "something" - "hors dourves" instead of "hors d'oeuvre" (or "hors d'oeuvres")
Harry Potter #6 Posted Tuesday at 09:40 PM I thank you for the error reports. Occasionally, I make typos that slip by. And I didn't now about the second mentioned spelling error. I'm going to fix them now. BTW, I enjoy optimizing. Can anybody suggest to me any optimizations I can apply to MadLibAtari?
Harry Potter #7 Posted Tuesday at 09:57 PM Spelling mistakes fixed! I uploaded the new files now. I don't remember if I compiled the program. If the mistakes aren't fixed, run the included batch file, and it'll compile the changes.
+Allan #8 Posted Wednesday at 02:26 AM The two links don't work unless you cut and paste them into the address bar.
www.atarimania.com #9 Posted Thursday at 07:03 AM You are requested to enter "Something done to you" and "hors d'oeuvres" twice in the first and third categories respectively. The second entries still have the uncorrected spellings.
