Did the Jag have any unlicensed adult games?

The old 2600 was notorious for its adult unlicensed games, and in the 90s all the other consoles seemed to have them(SNES, Sega, 3DO), but Ive yet to hear of any for the Jag. It seems like most of those games were coming from Asia in the 90s though so probably Atari missed out on the chance to have strip Mahjong and the likes.

There are ample cinepak tools available if you look around, and you can probably play cinepak disk images on the GD now. Knock yourself out.

You mean like you could convert any video to this format and it works on the GD? Pr0n or otherwise thats pretty amazing if so. Maybe I could put some old 90s VHS tapes on there. Unfortunately Im not old enough to be nostalgic for 90s porn though ?

In theory, yes, though it's less straight-forward than it ought to be. If you're used to dropping a video in VLC, hitting export, picking a preset, and going for a coffee, get ready to have your expectations reset pretty hard. Also, unless you find some way to make greater-than-CD-length CD images that the GD is happy with, you're looking at 2-3 discs for each 90's movie.

As an example, I spent about a full month's worth of free time (Usually 6-10 hours a week) getting ramped up on the cinepak stuff and encoding+encrypting one good ~35 minute disk of cartoons for my kids. Granted, I sunk some extra time into trying to get it to work without Apple's no-longer-for-sale quicktime encoder, and writing a script to work around a since-fixed bug in the conversion tool. I should really post some consolidated notes from all this somewhere, but @Saturn's old posts on the subject are pretty close to the process I ended up at anyway, though they're a bit spread out in the thread:

American Hero was very ahead of it's time; i don't think it intended to be pornographic, just mature content like a cutting edge "R" rated movie of the era with plenty of T&A and violence.   I really would have loved to see the finished product if it was released commercially.

This genre is seeing new life on current gen consoles, with FMV story driven games like Night Shift again finding their niche with better than ever production values.

DUDE! You gave an idea that i would love to see but I don't think it'll ever happen sadly, which is seeing someone obtaining the rights to American Hero and finishing it, releasing it on PC and the Jaguar of course. Hell! If Plumbers Don't Wear Ties of all titles is getting re-released, why the frick American Hero can't?

Wait! Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is getting re-released? Well BattleMorph is getting a re-release... But no adult theme there, unless you like dis-embodied blue heads saying things like "Well done"...

I wish I was kidding but yeah, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is getting re-released on all current platforms by Limited Run Games, who are also doing a physical English release of the original Turbo Duo version of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Not for current platforms but for the Turbo Duo specifically.

Well I suppose if I had a Turbo Duo or a Turbo Grafx CD, I would be happy to hear that...
