Redcurrie #1 Posted August 14, 2003 If you were stuck on an island and only had one game to play, what would it be? I'm asking because I will finally have a precious few hours this evening to play games. Between football and work, I have no time to play with the collection that I am amassing and don't want to waste my time playing loser games like "insert bad game here". (For those of you who didn't read my post on my nomination for "worst game ever"...my choice was actually a well-liked game by some so I'll avoid offending anyone and let you fill in your own choice.) Help me out here!!!!

jetset #5 Posted August 14, 2003 Kaboom definetly..... 2nd choice(s) would be maybe Beam rider or Adventure.
Inky #6 Posted August 14, 2003 If I were stuck on a desert Island, the first thing I'D do is to figure out where I'd get the electricity to run my games. Then I'd choose Circus or Dodge-Em
NE146 #7 Posted August 14, 2003 I was stuck on an Island up until I went off to College! But I'd say when I WAS on that island I'd often go out of my way to play Robotron. As far as the 2600 goes, I think I played MsPacman and Kaboom the most.

Godzilla #9 Posted August 14, 2003 if i was stuck on a desert island but somehow had home gaming equipment and electricity and stuff, id use it to create a transmitter and get off the island. or id just follow the electricity to civilization. and i might play knights of the old republic, and space master x-7. Brad2600 #15 Posted August 16, 2003 Tapper, Pitfall II, HERO, Bowling, Gopher and Megamania

tantone56 #18 Posted August 16, 2003 My top game would have to be circus atari.....but if I could sneak in two more it would be beat em and eat em and also halloween.
Godzilla #19 Posted August 20, 2003 If I were stuck on a desert island, I wouldn't have to see all the 'If I were stuck on an island..." threads that I've seen in here over the ages.
Xot #20 Posted August 21, 2003 If we're limited to 2600, then Asteroids. Otherwise, a tough choice between Robotron and Galaga, withthe nod probably going to 2084.

Scooterb23 #22 Posted August 21, 2003 A homemade double ender with Journey Escape and Pete Rose Baseball
Ed Siegler #23 Posted August 21, 2003 Mine would have to be Fishing derby. I'd want to go out kicking Stan's ass any way I could.
Christophero Sly #24 Posted August 21, 2003 A homemade double ender with Journey Escape and Pete Rose Baseball I just got Pete Rose Baseball on Monday. What a surprise! I haven't really had time to sit down and play through a whole game yet, but, so far, it's showing itself to be a fantastic game. My only complaint is the constant crowd noise. IMO, it would be better if the crowd noise rose when you got a hit or made an out and then fell off completely during the rest of the game.
AtariDude #25 Posted August 23, 2003 I would chose the Activision Anthology set Ok, ok..that was cheating. If I only had one game, it would be a tossup between Hero and Pitfall 2.
