At4ri #1 Posted August 15, 2003 Play 1 Atari game for 1 hour straight....which would it be? Or another way.....which game has the longest playability ? Death Star Battle or Joust i reckon....
Room 34 #3 Posted August 15, 2003 I have played many games for many hours straight! I will probably never top the 6-hour single game of Defender I played when I was about 10. The games that get extended play with me nowadays are usually Yars' Revenge or Video Pinball. I'd play Kaboom! that long too if only I were good enough at it! At4ri #4 Posted August 15, 2003 Kaboom....didn't think of that one. 6 Hours Defender? Never got allowed that cos i had to 'share' the system with little bruv.

+Random Terrain #6 Posted August 15, 2003 I'd play E.T. since the phone pieces and the zones are always in different places. I can play that game for hours without getting sick of it.
Zach #7 Posted August 15, 2003 Video Chess. But that's just me.

Godzilla #13 Posted August 15, 2003 dark cavern can give a good hour of tense fun, space master x-7, tho my favorite, is more enjoyable in shorter bursts it really takes a lot out of you.
bcprs1 #14 Posted August 15, 2003 Why Ms Pacman rather than Mr.Pac Man ?THinking about it, Super breakout could be a contender.... because Mr Pac-Man is aweful on the Atari. I could play Pac Man Arcade though for a hour. That is still the best hack I have ever played.

Room 34 #17 Posted August 17, 2003 Oh yeah, Video Chess is also a good choice. Sure... because it'll take the "computer" 1 hour just to make its first move!
NovaXpress #18 Posted August 17, 2003 I put in 34 hours straight on Missile Command when I was 12. I did have two short naps but plenty of reserve cities to cover my ass. Apparently I didn't have much real world activity as a child.
BassGuitari #19 Posted August 17, 2003 Mine would have to be either H.E.R.O., Star Ship, Indy 500, or Seaquest. If I had Cosmic Commuter, maybe that one too.
Happy_Dude #20 Posted August 17, 2003 KABOOM! or Thrust. (even though I don't have Thrust .... yet )
Greg Zumwalt #21 Posted August 17, 2003 Warlords! Especially with a good friend, both of us battling the 2600, until it came down to just the two of us battling it out. Of course, a good long run at Asteroids and rolling it can be a blast too
+Saturn #22 Posted August 17, 2003 I put in 34 hours straight on Missile Command when I was 12. I did have two short naps but plenty of reserve cities to cover my ass. My God, mon! I'd think your 2600 would've started smoldering.
