Does anybody know if UAV provides CSYNC out on pin 15 (when installed in place of CD4050)?

From the previous time I tried this, I'm gonna go with no. I had to source CSYNC for VBXE from the composite video pin with UAV installed.

I believe you can piggyback the CD4050 with the UAV, thus leaving all of the original video functions and connections as they were prior to the UAV install. So in other words leave the CD4050 in the socket, then place a socket on top of that chip, and solder it's pins to the CD4050. Now plug in the UAV, and you should have all the original functionality of the CD4050 circuit, as well as UAV high quality video coming out of its terminal block (don't forget to run a wire to the UAV for the color signal).

Thanks, that's what I suspected...

As for piggybacking - I don't have space for that and I don't like it (in general).

It'll be a good "test" for my DIN13 board (now with sync separator).
