Need advice on flashback consoles

Recommended Posts

I've had in television flash book and decided would buy the other brands. Nintendo. Sega. Colecovision. Well Atari and Sega seem to have different models. Also they don't include game lists. Guess need to know which is the newest or best features or whatever. Sega is really complicated. Have 2 versions here and don't know the difference other than headphone jack and says includes 2 mb games other says so many 8 bit games and so many 16 bit. And again it also says includes one computer insert so I don't know if there r 8 bit game version's and 16 bit game version? How do I make sense of all this. Gonna have to return some of these.

I have a couple of the Atari 2600 ones, and the Sega Megadrive one.
I think you'd probably get information faster in more specific forums though?

I'd love the Intellivision one, but it was never sold in Europe, unfortunately. ?

If anybody ever sees one cheap, in one of those clearance shops still, maybe,
and would ship it at reasonable cost, I'd be very grateful. They seem to be as
expensive as the Amico will be, when I look, and with postage+tax, it's crazy.

The latest Atari 2600 is the best looking version.. I think it's the 10 version?   It's got a ton of good games on it, and has the closest look of the actual Atari with switches instead of large push buttons.

I had the Colecovision unit and returned it.  I just felt it wasn't very good and the games were a poor selection.  I really should have kept it as the unit was made well and the controllers were good.

I'll keep an eye out for you for the Intellivision. I found one on Ebay a year or two ago for about $70. Then I sent it out to the guy who mods them to turn it into the "Ultimate Intellivision Flashback" Adds HDMI, every game ever, including some homebrew, and the controllers are mapped perfectly. It's so cool.

post a request on the Intellivision forum if you want to get an Intv Flashback.  Someone might be able to sell one to you cheaper than ScamBay.

Last year I bought a case minus the controllers and no box to use for a project.
